    For your consideration is a semiblack (N5) opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia.  It features  moderately bright (2.5/5) green and blue in a rolling broadflash pattern.  The low-domed, freeform-cut stone weighs 1.17 carats. It measures 12mm long by 5mm wide and 2.5mm high.  No cracks or crazing and clean front & back. As ever, this is a untreated, ALL-NATURAL gemstone, mined from the earth.
    PLEASE NOTE: you are looking at enlarged images of a small gemstone. Flaws or blemishes may not be visable to the naked eye!  White lines or spots that do not remain in the same place are reflections from the highly polished surface.
